Painkillers

Pain Killers & NSAIDs | Uses, Dosage & Side-effects

Prescription pain relievers include opioids (like oxycodone, morphine, codeine) for moderate to severe pain; non-opioids like fentanyl and tramadol; and neuropathic pain medications such as gabapentin and pregabalin for nerve pain, or antidepressants like amitriptyline.

Other options can include certain NSAIDs and newer non-opioid drugs like JOURNAVX (suzetrigine).

A doctor must prescribe these medications and will determine the most appropriate choice based on the type and severity of pain.
